Thanks for writing backHere's exactly what I'll set up for you.

For dog daycare and boarding

Before the first dog walks in, the desk work is done.

I set it up on the software you already use. It reads vaccination records, sorts tomorrow's pups into playgroups, and catches unused daycare credits and no-shows. Your staff gets one short list every morning.

What I do

Sound familiar?

Four jobs that eat the morning.

Your software keeps the records. The checking still lands on whoever is at the front desk, every morning, right when the pups start coming through the door.

Vaccine records

Pet parents send the vaccination records. Someone still types every date in by hand.

One missed rabies date puts an unvaccinated pup in the yard with everyone else.

Handled: every record is read, the dates are pulled, and any expired shot is flagged before drop off.

Membership credits

A very admin heavy burden.

A daycare owner, on daycare credits and chasing failed charges.

Handled: credits nobody used, charges that failed, and cards about to expire, all on one list.

Playgroups

Group sizes, the pups who can go either way, and the two who can never share a yard.

Your best person spends the evening at the whiteboard.

Handled: tomorrow's playgroups, sorted your way. Your lead only moves the exceptions.

10:30AM · not here yet
Late arrivals and no-shows

Three pups on today's list aren't here, and the front desk is slammed.

Late cancels slip through and never get charged.

Handled: a friendly note to the pet parent at a time you pick, and repeat no-shows flagged for your policy.

Your morning

Six chores become one list.

Nothing about drop off changes. The checking happens before your staff gets there, and only the things that need a person make the list.

A morning today

  • Open every new vaccination record and type the dates in
  • Check who's on today's list against who's expired
  • Redo the playgroup whiteboard for tomorrow
  • Apply daycare credits at every pick up
  • Hunt for membership charges that failed
  • Call pet parents whose pups haven't shown up

With the add-on

Tomorrow's board

Playgroups sorted by your rules, not by memory.

You tell it your groups, how many pups fit in each, who can go either way, and who can't share a yard. It builds the board from tomorrow's reservations and says why each pup landed where it did. Try it.

    Vaccinations

Every record read and checked before drop off.

    • Pet parents send a photo or PDF like they do now. Every shot, the date it was given and the date it runs out get pulled.
    • Expired or missing shots land on the morning list next to the pup's reservation.
    • Pet parents get a reminder before a shot runs out, so the new record comes in before the next visit.
    • Your staff has the final say. Nothing gets approved on its own.

    Setup

    What happens after your reply.

There's nothing new for your staff to learn. I do the setup, and the list comes to the inbox your front desk already checks.

    1. You reply with a few details

Which software you use and how your playgroups work. The list here is everything I'll ask for.

    2. I hook it up to your software

You decide what it can see, and you can turn it off any time. It never changes a reservation or charges anyone.

    3. Your staff gets the morning list

Before drop off, one email with only the things that need a person. Tell me what to add or take off and I change it.

A morning check-in: an owner hands a small dog to a smiling staff member at the counter

    What I'll ask you for

    1. The software you use and who on your staff can give access
    2. Your playgroups: names, how many pups fit, and who to keep apart
    3. The vaccinations you require for daycare and boarding
    4. Your late-cancel rule and when a no-show counts
    5. Who gets the morning list and what time

    Get started

Just reply with the software you use.

That's enough to get going. I'll ask for the rest as I set it up with your playgroups and your vaccination rules.

    • No setup fee
    • First month free
    • Nothing to switch
    • Set up to your rules

    Fair questions

    What owners usually say first.

Straight answers to what comes up before anyone says yes. Don't see yours? Reply and ask. I answer every one myself.

    Do we even need this?

“We're fine the way we are.”

Then keep running it your way. Nothing here replaces your software or how your desk works. It takes the checking off your front desk. If the first month doesn't save you time, you've paid nothing.

“My software already sends vaccination reminders.”

Keep them. This reads the records pet parents send back, pulls the dates, and flags who's still missing before drop off. That part is still done by hand today.

    “We're a small place.”

If you take vaccination records, run playgroups or sell daycare packages, it saves time. Your list is just shorter.

    The money

    “$129 a month is a lot for a list.”

Count what the checking costs now. At 30 minutes a morning, that's about 15 hours of staff time a month. And if your memberships cost more than $129, one failed charge caught pays for the month by itself.

“What's the catch with the free month?”

There isn't one. Setup is free, the first month is free, and you see the list working before you pay anything. If it hasn't earned $129 a month by then, tell me and I turn it off. You won't be charged.

    “Is there a contract?”

No. It's month to month, per location. You can turn it off any time.

“We have more than one location.”

Each location gets its own list at $129 a month. Tell me how many you run and I set them up together.

    Your software and your data

“Is it safe to connect it to our software?”

You decide what it can see, and you can turn it off any time. It never changes a reservation or charges anyone.

“Do I have to give you my password?”

No. If your software makes keys for add-ons, I use one of those, and you can cancel it any time. If it doesn't, you make a separate staff login just for this. Your own login stays yours.

“Our software isn't on your list.”

Tell me what you use. If your staff can log in to it, I can set this up on it.

“What happens to our pet parents' information?”

It's used for one thing: building your list. It's never sold or shared.

“What if we switch software later?”

Tell me and I'll move it over.

    “What if we stop?”

Nothing changes in your software. It only reads from it, so turning it off leaves everything the way it was.

Your staff and your pet parents

“I don't have time to set up something new.”

You don't set anything up. You answer a few questions by email and I do the rest.

“My staff won't learn another app.”

There's no app to learn. The list shows up in the inbox your front desk already checks.

“What if it gets something wrong?”

Your staff has the final say. Everything it flags, a person confirms before it counts. If a record is blurry or unclear, it goes on the list for a person to check. It doesn't guess.

“Will it message my pet parents without me knowing?”

Only if you want it to. You pick which notes go out, when they go and what they say. Or keep it to the staff list only.

    Getting started

    “Do we need a call?”

No. The morning list is set up over email. The one thing I need from you is access to your software, and I send short, plain steps for that. If you want something bigger built around how you run, you can book a call at the bottom of this page.

    “How long does setup take?”

Most of it waits on two things from you: access to your software and your answers on playgroups and shots. The more you send in your first reply, the sooner your first list goes out.

    “Who's behind this?”

Me, Damian Moore. I build automation for small businesses, and I set up every morning list myself. You write to me and I write back. And because it only reads from your software, nothing on your side depends on me to keep running.

This started with a daycare owner who sent me a list of everything their desk does by hand before 9 AM. Most of it is checking, not caring for dogs. That part should come to you already done.

    Something bigger

    Need something more custom?

The morning list is one setup that fits most daycares. If you want something built around how your place runs, book a call and walk me through it.
